20/09/14  (league) - Chill Eagles-6, Shoreline United-4

Continuing on from last weeks win against Sefton, the Eagles claimed their second win of the season against Shoreline.

The Eagle's recovered well after going two goals down in the first ten minutes giving away a penalty and defending poorly against Shoreline's second attack. However the Eagle's drew level quickly with two elegent finishes  from Robert Hilton; first from the spot, then sliding in a spilt ball from Shoreline's keeper.

Tom Chee put the Eagles infront with strike from just inside the penalty box before Shoreline found a spell of good form, levelling the score and attacking well; but the score was kept even for a long with inspired saves from Daniel Hogan and a number of emphatic blocks from Francis Riozzi and man of the match Dylan Ellis until the Shoreline attack were able to find a gap to squeeze in a forth and again take the lead.

Second half substitute Daniel Boyd drew the Eagle's level for a second time after lobbing the Shoreline goal keeper with a superb volley, latching on to a long through ball by Kieran Spriggs. Boyd scored a second later in the game after recieving another through ball by Spriggs which was played across the box allowing Spriggs to claim a second assist.

A run of even play was put to rest when Tom Chee recieved the ball (again from Spriggs giving him claim to a hatrick of assists) and curled his shot into the top-right corner of the Shoreline goal and putting the game to bed as his shot hit both posts on its way over the line, securing the 3 points for the Eagle's and allowing them to make their nest only five points behind the divisions leaders Bridge Target.

Goals: Robert Hilton (2), Tom Chee (2), Daniel Boyd (2)

Manager's man of the match: Dylan Ellis
