The Eagles extended their unbeaten run claiming 3 points against rival side All Saints. Eagles have know claimed all 9 points from their last three games and are showing a drastic improvement on last season when they had only 4 points from the first 5 games. Now on 10 points and sitting in second place between leaders Bridge Target and third place Alder.
The Eagles went infront in the first half after Kieran Spriggs turned the last man to go one-on-one with the goal keeper and slotting his shot elegantly into the bottom corner of the All Saints' goal.
All Saints earned a free kick just outside the left side of the Eagles' penalty area after their forward was pulled back by the centre half marking him. The free kick taker curled his shot past the reach of goal keeper, Dan Hogan's, reach, who otherwise had a faltless appearence.
Maxwell Burns finished on the counter after leaving the All Saints for dead. The run of good form is only getting the Eagle's more and more optmism for their first cup game against St Margaret Mary's after a week without action.
